Project Management

A successful IT project depends on good interactions between people. Although technology is important, it is still only a tool, and the solutions developed to support business processes are mainly about interaction between people in different roles in the value chain. For Skyvekraft, project management is therefore very much about communication and involvement, in addition to basic tasks such as securing resources and progress, documentation and control.

In most IT projects, the project manager should contribute more than just administrative project management tasks. It is a significant advantage that the project manager has one or more relevant competencies, whether from similar industries, business processes or technology areas.  With such skills, the project manager role can to a much greater extent act as a facilitator between the different stakeholders, and can more easily see the connection between alternative solutions, business needs and cost / benefit effects.

Skyvekraft has employees with extensive experience from managing various projects in IT development, product- and service development, as well as digitalization of business processes.

We also have resources that typically take on roles as sub-project managers, for either a technical- or a functional area.

Project management is usually delivered as part of our delivery projects, but is also offered as a standalone service.
